Triple Threat Blog Hop!

Welcome to the DCWV/May Arts/Tombow Triple Threat Blog Hop! All this week, designers from these three great companies are sharing projects they created by teaming up some fun paper from DCWV’s Honey Chic stack, with a variety of adhesives from Tombow and some beautiful ribbon from May Arts.

If you have come here from Rita's Blog then you're on track! If not, the hop list is at the very bottom of this post!

I decided to make a mini album that I've loved for a long time but was never sure what to make with it.
It's a Maya Road chipboard mini in the shape of a beehive. So cute!
I thought it would be perfect for my baby girl's pictures once she arrives in September.

I'm anticipating not having as much crafting time as before so I thought I would get something ready ahead of time.

The patterned paper pieces are photo mats. Once she arrives, all I have to do is print the photos, glue them on, write some journaling in the cards and done! Pretty mini to show off :)

She'll definitely be the Queen Bee at our house!

How cute is this glitter ribbon? It's stretchy too, I think I'm gonna make her a headband with the leftover ribbon :)

That heart is actually MA ribbon! They come attached I just cut one to use here as a single heart.
I included a couple envelopes to tuck in notes or souvenirs like a lock of hair (someday) or her hospital bracelet.

I used the Tombow hook and loop tabs to attach the envelope. That way I can take it off easily to add or remove items. I was so excited to see those tabs because I was wishing someone would make them already. They're much thinner than the adhesive Velcro you buy. Now I can make more interactive LOs and projects and add more memorabilia!

I used Tombow's Extreme Adhesive to attach the paper to the album. It is super strong and I love it especially for glossy or glittery surfaces. For everything else, the dot adhesive stamp runner is my go to adhesive.

This reminds me of a tutu!
I pleated a wide ribbon to make the tutu and the flower.
I totally forgot to sew on the button before attaching the flower, so I used a power tab to attach it. They're clear so you can't see any glue even up close and they give just a tiny bit of dimension.

...And the back cover.
The End!
