My hubby's anniversary card is out of this world!

Image
We recently celebrated our 12 wedding anniversary!  Due to our current love of all things Doctor Who, I presented my husband with this card: The background is  a DCWV 5x7 card. I used folk art paint in sterling, blue and glitter to create the space time vortex. Then, I cut the TARDIS from DCWV cardstock with the brother scan n cut and attached it to the card base. I just knew DCWV would have the perfect TARDIS blue! I was struggling to finish it all day because someone kept me busy. I let her play with the scrapbooking supplies on the lower shelves to keep her busy....and I'm secretly hoping the love of crafty things will stick.  My washi tapes are definitely her favorite 'toy.'  What fun stuff have you been up to?

Throw Back to June

One of the things that kept me so busy in June was my friend's baby shower. I made the decorations and I love how it turned out! We decided on a 'little peanut' theme. I did not make the cake but it's too cute not to show you!  Centerpieces   Photo props  Treat bags I used tons of DCWV papers from the Little Mister, Baby Boy, Blue Citrus and Juniper Berry stacks along with DCWV cardstock.  The stamp on the treat bags is from the PinkFresh studios february2015 monthly embellishment kit. The stamp fit in so perfectly, my husband asked, 'how do you have an elephant with an umbrella stamp?' LOL I guess it was meant to be!

Oh my!!!

Time has flown! I am here! Haven't gone anywhere. Life is just busy! Some days it seems like there's only enough time to either craft OR blog about what I'm making. So I choose to craft. But I have been actively contributing on the DCWV blog which you can now find at their brand new website: http://www.dcwv.com/blog I have made these fun treat bag toppers and card: http://www.dcwv.com/blog/post/graduations-and-summer-celebrations This LO to reminisce about my travels:  http://www.dcwv.com/blog/post/the-clock-tradition And this shadow box to decorate at my baby's first birthday party:  http://www.dcwv.com/blog/post/birthday-time I'm working on more stuff. I promise I've been busy in the craftroom... just not so much on the computer.
